A compilation of video clips of Mélissa Theuriau, the French news reporter that has been called the ... most beautiful in the world. Don't speak French? I doubt you'll care.

Mélissa Theuriau (born 18 July 1978, in Échirolles, suburb of the south of Grenoble, France) is a French journalist. She has been called the most beautiful newscaster in the world, and has a cult following in the United States and the United Kingdom.

After one year of Law school, Theuriau graduated from the Institut de la Communication et des Médias, Université Stendhal - Grenoble III at Échirolles. She made her breakthrough as a newscaster and travel show host for LCI, the news channel and for TF1. Her programs were LCI Matin (LCI Morning), the 6:40 news on LCI and TF1 from Monday to Thursday and the Voyages (travel) show on Wednesdays at 13:55 on LCI.

In May 2006, she surprised the management of TF1 by refusing the offer to be the anchorwoman of the weekend evening news of TF1, as a summer replacement for sitting anchorwoman Claire Chazal. In June 2006, M6, another French television channel, announced her arrival for September as editor in chief and presenter of Zone interdite, a weekly magazine show featuring investigative reporting. She also presents Un jour, une Photo et 2, 3 jours avec moi on the french TV channel Paris Première.

Interviewed by Florence Dauchez on French program, January 07.

Translation from 6:17 to 7:01

- Can we say that today you are a bit "trapped" by your beauty ? It's maybe just a suspicion. Yes, a suspicion. Are you not just a looker that people display because "Melissa sells" ? Yes, in fact some people wonder if you have anything of a real journalist.
- Well, if that is your opinion, .... I really don't think I...
- No, i'm just telling you what papers say...
- No, I think it's a luck. I think I can manage, at least take the good decisions for the future [they are talking of Melissa's career] and for the things I want to do. I did it quite well until now. I have everything I could wish for, at least concerning my job and the responsibilities I have. So this is all trivial detail. I dont read those papers, so it's just funny that you talking about that, but I... that's it.

Haven Help!

Posted by Picasa
On a steep rock upon a dark cliff
water crossing Europe's midriff
crusaders walking this valley of death
following Huns horses hoofsteps
Today one can see, hear, touch the evil
laying at the mountain's harsh dream bed
watching the shadows of ghosts of the past,
bellringers of despair from Earth to Haven.

Lovers Running Against the Winds

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band - Against the Wind

It seems like yesterday
But it was long ago
Janey was lovely, she was the queen of my nights
There in the darkness with the radio playlng low
And the secrets that we shared
The mountains that we moved
Caught like a wildfire out of control
Till there was nothing left to burn and nothing left to prove

And I remember what she said to me
How she swore that it never would end
I remember how she held me oh so tight
Wish I didnt know now what I didnt know then

Against the wind
We were runnin against the wind
We were young and strong, we were runnin
Against the wind

And the years rolled slowly past
And I found myself alone
Surrounded by strangers I thought were my friends
I found myself further and further from my home
And I guess I lost my way
There were oh so many roads
I was living to run and running to live
Never worried about paying or even how much I owed
Moving eight miles a minute for months at a time
Breaking all of the rules that would bend
I began to find myself searchin
Searching for shelter again and again
Against the wind
A little something against the wind
I found myself seeking shelter against the wind

Well those drifters days are past me now
I've got so much more to think about
Deadlines and commitments
What to leave in, what to leave out

Against the wind
Im still runnin against the wind
Well Im older now and still
Against the wind

"I don't have prejudice against myself. My father was a white and my mother was black. Them call me half-caste or whatever. Me don't dip on nobody's side. Me don't dip on the black man's side nor the white man's side. Me dip on God's side, the one who create me and cause me to come from black and white." Bob Marley

Bob Marley - Small Axe

Why boasteth thyself, O evil men;
Playing smart and not being clever, oh no!
I say you're working iniquity
To achieve vanity, yeah, if a-so a-so.

{Psalms 52:1 - Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Psalms 94:4 - How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
Proverbs 22:8 - He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
Isaiah 59:4 - None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Jeremiah 2:5 - Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? }

But the goodness of Jah-Jah
Idureth for Iver.
If you are the big tree,
We are the small axe
Sharpened to cut you down, (well sharp)
Ready to cut you down, oh yeah!

{Matthew 3:10 - And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.}

These are the words of my master
Keep on tellin' me - o-oh! - no weak heart shall prosper:
Oh no, they can't! Eh.

{Proverbs 28:13 - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Jeremiah 22:30 - Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.}

And whosoever diggeth a pit, Lord,
Shall fall in it - shall fall in it.
Whosoever diggeth a pit
Shall bury in it - shall bury in it.

{Proverbs 26:27 - Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
Proverbs 28:10 - Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
Ecclesiastes 10:8 - He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.}

If you are the big tree,
We are the small axe
Sharpened to cut you down,
Ready to cut you down.
---
[Instrumental break]
---
Whosoever diggeth the pit
Shall fall in it - fall in it, eh!
Whosoever diggeth the pit
Shall bury in it - shall bury in it.
If you are the big tree,
We have a small axe
Ready to cut you down, (well sharp)
Sharpened to cut you down.
If you are the big tree,
Let me tell you this: we are the small axe
Ready to cut you down, (well sharp)
Sharpened to cut you down.
If you have a big tree ... [fadeout]

Bobbie De, The Culture Rebel

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't talk so loud
Now you don't seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it
And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street
And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it
You said you'd never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but now you realize
He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And ask him do you want to make a deal?
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all come down and did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made
Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
